With over 24,000 books, 6000 reference books, 40 print journals and 600 e-journals, the library at Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University is our pride and honour. The library seeks young and brilliant minds who spend their time here to hone their skills and interests in the field of their interest. The School of Engineering at Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University has a library worth visiting.
This library is the heart and soul of Swarrnim University. Since the university fosters the pursuit of academic excellence, the library is the place that acts as a means to achieve the university’s aim. The optimum and extensive use of the library is made easy and feasible by a team of dedicated, well-trained, and cooperative library staff.
The books here are arranged in a manner easy for the students to find the exact book they are looking for. It follows the Dewey Decimal Classification system for the organisation of the books. The library has even initiated the computerisation of its services by the implementation of SOUL 3.0 software and follows a Barcode system for issuance and return of books. It also provides OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) for the students to find the location of books and other materials in the library, which saves a lot of time, effort, and energy. The library also has a huge and growing section on digital learning sources, keeping in mind the need for technological knowledge for the growing world. CDs, DVDs, Floppy, and Internet are readily available for the students to use and collect information from across the globe.
The students have open access to the library to enter the stacks and choose books according to their requirements. The working hours of the library are
9 AM To 5:00 PM on the weekdays (Monday to Friday).
The library is spacious with reading halls and comfortable desks and chairs for the students and staff members.
